Ko Pha Ngan is located 20 km north of its sister island Ko Samui. Travelling between these beautiful islands takes about 30 minutes by boat.
Highlights : Ko Pha Ngan is world-famous for its Full Moon Party at Haad Rin Beach which is held every month at full moon. But beside its well-known party, Ko Pha Ngan also has many interesting sights like forest, waterfalls, beaches, sea, temples, cultural attractions, adventurous attractions such as Than-Sadet National Park, Haad Rin Nok, Haad Thong Nai Pan Yai, and Haad Thong Nai Pan Noi. Its beaches are very breathtaking, great for a getaway and absolutely perfect for a beach wedding ceremony.
Weather : Due to its hot and rainy weather, the best time to visit Ko Pha Ngan is during its high season. While you should avoid visiting during its monsoon season starts from October and ends in January.
Notes: For those who plan to visit Ko Pha Ngan on its high season (December – April), it is recommended to have your flights booked at least a couple months prior to your departure to be safe.
Travel : After landing on Ko Samui Airport or Suratthani Airport you can easily buy boat tickets or hire a car to take you to Ko Pha Ngan from there.
