Wonderful Surin Islands
Recommend for new wedding couple on your honeymoon destination in Thailandwith wonderful underwater world.
The Surin Islands is an archipelago of five islands in the Andaman Sea, 60 km from the Thai mainland. Mu Ko Surin National Park encompasses the islands and their surrounding waters.Surin Islands are best visited during the months of December to March when the seas are at their most calm, and for divers and snorkellers, water visibility is good.Koh Surin Neua (north island) and Koh Surin Tai (south island) are the principal islands – lying just across a small bay from each other, and where basic bungalow style accommodation and camping grounds can be found for overnight visits. The Surin Islands are truly perfect for snorkelling, swimming and relaxing.
How to go Surin Island.
the nearest airports are at Surat Thani and Phuket. Depending on location of stay or departure location of boats, both airports are in 70-100 km range. A third airport is situated in Krabi, around 150 km away. There are regular bus/minivan/taxi services to Khao Lak from the airports.
